Lancashire Heeler We remember...
My name is Linda,and I got my first minischnauzer,-a white bitch,5,5 years ago.Shortly after,I got a black/silver bitch,Demii,home as well.Demii is now in my ownership,and I am very happy about that!The training for the shows was very nice,and it was nice to recieve Demii`s show-prices,but after a while,I wanted to try this for my own.So with my plans for shows and breeding,I bought Savanna in 2005,a lovely white bitch.At the age of 17 months,she got her title Norwegian Champion.I needed a boyfriend for her,and after lot of searching and studying,I found Kondyl Trigenimus,called Nemo,a swedish girls` boy.He really knows how to make cure to a lady,haha...!
Well,with all of my hopes and plans,I applied for a breeder-name,wich is approved by NKK (Norwegian Kennel Club) and FCI in Belgium!!!Finally,I can start up,and it is incredible funny and interesting!I have my membership in NKK (Norwegian Kennel Club) and NSBK (Norwegian Schnauzer Bouvier Club),the mainclub,SKK Swedish Kennel Club) and Swedish Lancashire Heeler Club!
March 1. 2008 I expect my first Lancashire Heeler-bitch.My plans with this breed are shows,agility and breeding.My experience with Heelers are for now nothing to brag about,but I am learning every day!It will be interesting to get to know a totally new breed,and to see if this type of dog is something for the norwegian people!This breed is still not approved by FCI,but it is approved by most of the Kennel Clubs!
Last summer we moved from Stavanger in west,to Sarpsborg in east,and we feel we did the right thing!!!I bought a very nice house with 717 square meter garden.Our dogs have a lot of fun in the garden,and we all are really happy here.Joakim,my son, an myself have a lot of pleasure with our dogs.We go for walks in the city,in the mountains or forrests,and we try to do some show-training once a week and we have a project to rollerblade once a week for the excersice.Otherwise,we just enjoy ourselves!
Our goal with breeding up the minischnauzers in our household,is the typical look of the breed,happy,healthy,steady and social dogs with great comfort and trust in others.We also try to improve weakness`,like hard coat,with massive beard and lots of hair in the feet,stronger bones,better chest....Our puppies get used to and get to know different and common noices,such as the vacuumcleaner,tv-sounds,kitchen-noices,cars...They also learn to be handled by adults and children,men and females,and they get sosialized with our other dogs.We also try to learn the puppies to go out in surtain `occations`.Can`t guarranty that the puppies are clean by delivering,but I work for it.
