My name is Linda Svingen,and I live in Rakkestad east of Norway,and only 30 minutes from the Swedish border, with my son (17 years old),Chessie,Fryd,Chanel,and my Labradoodle Gaga.I work as an instructor in Norway`s biggest school for dogs and their owners,Oslo Hundeskole. |

I got my first Miniatureschnauzer,a white female,in february 2001.And since...My stock has been growing,haha....I am a breeder of Ministureschnauzer black/silver and white,and I got my first litter in may 2007.I imported my first F1b Labradoodle from England in may 2009.She got the name Sandy.Long before I bought Sandy,I read,studied and got a lot of helpfull tips and ideas from Kathy Young,president of Australian Labradoodle inc in Australia,and from the president in ALAEU in Denmark,Kimberly Karlshoj.I wanted to be sure what kind of breed this was,and I wanted to learn about the breeding program before I started up as a breeder of Labradoodle.The Labradoodle breeding program is very complex and difficult,and I wanted to do start my breeding the right way!!!There are a few big mistakes a breeder can do,and I wanted to avoid this.Therefor I wanted to be as sure as I coukd be before I started up with Labradoodle!
I love to spend time with my dogs,specially outdoor.We can be in the woods,go for a walk,explore with running with my bike,train or go on exhibitions.My dogs live with me as familymembers,and the puppies grows up in the livingroom.I feel very strong to socialize the pups as much as possible,with handling,cuddleing,grooming and let them be used to all kind of noices!Some of my dogs participate on exhibitions,-with great resaults, and some are training obidience,agility,tracking and carries a backpack.We do have a lot of fun :-D Besides these things,I also play the clarinet,paint mailboxes and pictures, I like to watch a good movie,read,travel,coursing,fishing,I gromm Schnauzers...
My Kennelname STARWAVE for my Labradoodlebreed,comes from several things.Sandy is my first Labradoodle,and will be the ancestor of my LD breed,-she is my beloved star!Wave comes from the type of coat Sandy has and this is the type I will breed with.I think this is the nicest type of coat,and it is the most allergyfriendly type of Labradoodle coat!Together,this is STARWAVE.
